History: Share Your Theme

            If you have made a Tiki theme and would like to share it with others, please submit it [tiki-upload_file.php?galleryId=2|here]. Please register at this site first, if you aren't already registered.

All themes and other files are offered under the LGPL license. This is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation

If you want to release the theme as [http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/lesser.txt|under the LGPL license] and let other people collaborate on its development, you can add it to the Tikiwiki Mods CVS repository. (More information [http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=TikiCVSHowTo|here]. You can either do that yourself, or just [tiki-upload_file.php?galleryId=2|upload] the files and we will add your theme to the CVS repository for you.

-=Submission Process=-
After your theme files have been uploaded to the Submissions file gallery, the admins here will give them a quick check and then add them to the [tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=1|New Themes download gallery] (and to the Tikiwiki CVS repository as appropriate). This check is just to make sure the files are valid theme templates and CSS files. The check isn't meant to be a screening for quality or other subjective criteria, except in extreme cases. (:wink:)

When your theme is available for downloading, you will be notified. If you like, you can make a blog or wiki page or just post in the forum here to describe the theme and/or answer users' questions about it, etc.

-=Commercial Themes=-
We would also like to let people (potential customers) know where they can find commercial themes for Tiki or designers/programmers for Tiki-related projects. If you are in this business, feel free to register here and share the details. As needed, a ''Commercial themes'' content category will be added, along with appropriate navigation links, etc.
